Every TRCF scholar served has a story to tell. Each has walked a road unimaginable to most. Of all the people living with cancer, teens and young adults receive the least amount of support. TRCF's programs were initiated after extensive research into the needs of teens battling cancer and ensure that scholar outcomes are impactful, equitable, and effective.
100% of the funds raised at this event will go directly toward providing ongoing college scholarships to teen cancer survivors. Without this vital support, the financial burden of cancer treatment would prohibit many of these survivors from attending school and earning a college degree. Our mission supports teens impacted by cancer by bridging the educational opportunity gap and providing a gateway to economic mobility and a higher quality of life.
TRCF exists solely on the generosity of our community. We are extremely thankful that we live in a community that strongly supports adolescents in need and understands the value of education. We hope that you enjoy our event so that we can continue to support teen cancer survivors in need!
The Ruth Cheatham Foundation Gala has quickly become one of Dallas's most recognized fundraisers for teen cancer support. Building upon last year's event, TRCF has a goal to reach even more teen survivors in need nationwide.
This year's TRCF event will bring something completely unique and exciting to the gala. Attendees will have the chance to step into the 'casino' and try their luck at vegas style casino games like blackjack, roulette, poker, and Craps. All proceeds will go to fund our educational support programs to teen cancer survivors!
Gala Location : May 6th, 2023 at the Fairmont Luxury Hotel in Downtown Dallas

Check-In will begin at 6:00pm for all guests. TRCF has a cocktail reception with a silent auction, wine pull, 360 degree photo booth and so much more to check out during our welcome hour for all guests. Those with VIP Access will be invited to the VIP Reception will be from 6:00pm - 7:30pm. The program will start promptly at 7:30pm.

How do I pay for my item once I win?
We require that you put a credit card on file when bidding on items for a quick & easy checkout. At the end of the night on May 6th, you'll be able to go to your activity and check out with just a few clicks! If you prefer to pay by check, please reach out to Lindsay Whittemore ([email protected]) prior to May 7th for information on how to send in your payment.
How do I retrieve or arrange my auction item/experience?
If an item is not picked the night of the TRCF Gala, A TRCF staff member will contact you with all the pertinent information you need to know for the next steps in fulfilling your auction win. Keep an eye on your email inbox!
Pickup times will be May 10 between 9AM - 2PM and May 11 between 9AM- 2PM and 4PM - 7PM.
